Do you have a favorite family member? (Living not dead)

Family means parents, siblings, cousins...not wife, husband, or kids...just to clear that up...
I had a couple conversations lately with friends who say they each have one favorite family member who they try to do things with without letting the others know. Is this normal? I don't do that with family members, but I do that with certain friends from time to time (closest friends). When it comes to family, I usually prefer to have more than a few around at a time so I can get it out of the way...since I spend more time with my closest friends than I do with family.

Yes, I have an aunt and uncle that are awesome. We go over regularly for bbq's and such and we don't let my mom or her other sisters know. It's nice just to hang out without all their drama.

I love my parents and sister more, but yeah one of my uncles is probably my favorite. Never had kids, but I know that when he and his wife die I'm getting the bulk of it in the will (my sister is getting a good chunk as well). My other cousins aren't going to see a cent of it.

I used to be closest with my father before he became disabled. Because of his disability it is impossible to have a fully reciprocal relationship with him anymore. Other wise I am very close with both my mother and sister. I don't see how I could pick a favorite. I guess I am more likely to get along with my sister. My mother can be difficult to handle at times. Picking a favorite doesn't make sense though.

My uncle is my favorite, but my father passed away ten years ago and I guess that's part of the reason why were close. I was 16 when my dad died, so my uncle and step-father were the men in my life from my 16+ years of age, which until 22 I was as most guys are borderline retarded.

My brother, though the feeling isn't mutual. I'm pretty alone these days. In fact I thought about killing myself. I don't know if I have the guts to go through with it though.

My parents. I try to hang out with em without my other siblings as much as possible.
This is mostly due to the fact that feel like I should make up for lost time because I was by far the shitiest kid in the family growing up.
