No i got your point, its just idiotic. And its hilarious that my idiom flew way over your old ignorant head. Work smart not hard isnt literal. dumbass.
I couldn’t imagine being such a soy snowflake that I got bothered by people adapting to changing times. Yikes, not a good look you old coot.
I couldn't imagine being such a soy snowflake who melts this hard over someone making fun of your Walmart pick up elitist attitude.

but that just defeats the purpose of the service to me.
Purpose of the service is to prevent me from having to walk up and down those aisles trying to find the stuff myself. I'll gladly help them put it in the car.

But you're still buying Walmart quality produce/meat.

We do delivery now. $98 a year to have grocery delivered to my door... sign me the frick up.
The delivery guy has to wade through white cans and whiskey bottles to get to your door. Typical Youngsville trash!!!

We generally don't buy any meat or vegetables/fruit that aren't frozen. Me or my wife will go to a local store a few times per month and grab that stuff.
A box of cereal, block of cheese, frozen chicken breast is still 15-20% cheaper at Walmart than most other places unless you buy in bulk from Costco.

I usually have like $300 worth of stuff.
So if you help do you still tip about $60 (20%) or can you reduce the tip by helping a little?

They don't accept tips at the ones around here. I tried giving the girl one the first time I used it and she said it wasn't allowed. I assume that's the corporate policy.

You like overpaying for stuff?

Anything I would buy at Walmart or Target I can get at Costco in bulk.
I would never buy meat or produce at Walmart. I'm particular about a lot of food items I buy, and Central market has higher quality for good prices.
Buying cheap because it's cheap isn't always the better option unless money is your only concern.

People are getting lazier and lazier and justifying it with “change of the times” and “convenience”.
I get to go outside and do a lot more shite on the weekends since grocery shopping went from taking an hour + to 10 minutes
WalMart grocery pickup is great, the shoppers they hire are way higher quality employees than those working the checkouts. The app is easy and I can just tell Google to add whatever to the cart right when I run out/think about it. The whole process has made the weekend so much more efficient
I usually get out and help just to make sure the losing is easier/help them move the baby stroller or whatever other bags are in the back

I guess I'm not seeing why Walmart is anymore "welfare" than Target or Costco. Anyway, like the other guy said: I don't buy meats/vegetables/fruits at Walmart. Most everything else? Yep.

Get out and help. I want to get out as quickly as possible.

Check in when on way and don’t order at 5-6pm

We tried it three or four times and ended up sitting in our car 30-45 minutes.
You have to select a better time slot. 5 to 6 is bad because everybody is stopping before heading home from work. Early Saturday morning is bad because people evidently don't show up for work.
Find a time that works for you and the particular store. I switched to Super1 which is not as busy but lack the product selection.

Target is for upper class yoga pant milfs.

Costco
You have to pay to get in the door. Natural trash buffer.

I haven't been in a Walmart in years. I despise the place.
