Problem with that is, some cops actually look for people doing everything by the book thinking they are acting suspicious and being overly cautious.

We were sitting on the steps of the liquor store
Trying not to look too scared
The cops were searching the RV and I was
Thinking sometimes life just isn't fair
They opened up that cabinet
And they found our little stash
But they didn't know what it was and let us go

I wouldn't say nervous, but I put my road beer down and tighten up.

When they get behind me, I slowly reach down and slip my seatbelt on and I leave the beer in the center console until I'm in the clear.
