If I don’t have any caffeine, then generally by 3 or 4 pm I have an almost migraine level headache, I get nauseous, and may even vomit. Almost like a heroin addict detoxing. It’s pretty pathetic. I drink a ton of coffee and soda though.

I use to drink 2-3 cups at work with 1 coke per day for years. I decided to stop cold turkey two months ago and have not had any coffee or a coke since. I did not have any caffeine withdrawal symptoms. I do sleep much better at night and I have a ton of energy when I come home after work instead of crashing like I use to.

I drink one cup of black before and during my 6:00am workout.

May splurge with a latte on the weekends here and there but not often.

I don’t get this. I’ve been drinking coffee almost every day since I was 4.

But I don’t crave it if I don’t have it for one or more days

I read an article once that said no matter how much or how little coffee you drink, if you vary your normal amount you will suffer symptoms.

I actually find that I’m more tired on the days I drink coffee.

This is me too, but I never drink more than the Walmart Yeti knock off (a couple of little mugs) in the morning anyway.

I drink about two cups a day and maybe 20oz of a diet coke or tea with lunch.

I'll get a dull headache if I go without any caffeine for around 24 hours. Headache will last for 24-48 hours if I still dont take in any caffeine. By day 3ish the caffeine withdrawal process is done and I feel fine.

I dont intentionally try not to take in caffeine either. It will happen at times, like if I have a cold and am just trying to rest, sometimes when I'm at home visiting my parents for several days, etc.
