Take it for the point t I was trying to make. Wasn't saying everything in the history of man was perfect but hard to argue that the history of spanking kids had a profound difference then when it has been claimed to be wrong.

This is where successful coaches call a timeout, regroup and man up. Then there's the runner-ups. I feel for your children.

A young, mixed-race, virtually fatherless man was whipped as a child by his low-to-mid income mother and grandparents. What was the outcome?

I think a soft spanking to a very young child is perfectly acceptable. It doesn't teuly hurt them but it scares them a little and gets their attention. Now spanking to truly hurt, or doing it to older children is pretty dumb with what we know now

If Peej was smart, he could have maybe leveraged all of his fake bad luck into some GoFundMe money from TD'ers or something.

Research shows spanking has no statistical effect on non-whites.

But I do believe that if you have to spank you're child, it is because you have failed in one way or another.

I don't think that's necessarily true.

Sometimes good parenting means dishing out a good spanking. I think belts, switches extension cords and such is excessive and at best borders abuse. Bust a spanking with the hand to the backside is not that big a deal (obviously provided it is not excessive or frequent).

I'm a horrible coach, though.

ETA: And I only have 1 child, so you only have to feel for her... but if you try to feel her you'll be in the grave.

Another one of your deparate responses. He was talking about an example I used. He never said he disagrees with my thoughts on spanking children nor accused me of attacking people as you've been accused of the last 4 pages. But great job there dipshit trying to twist something to cover up your miserable thought process.

Getting back on point, I agree with this. The whole point of this thread is what constitutes too much?
