can have a greater number of elements than another infinite set?

Personally, I think his theorem is bullshite with zero practical value. Mr. Cantor confused a semantic construction with a logical one; "one to one correspondence" has no logical resolution except with finite sets.

There are more even numbers than odd numbers.

Despite what every ten year old in the world believes, there is only infinity. There is no infinity plus one.

Which is why Cantor fails. There are no infinite collections of things in actuality, so the notion of an infinite set is not actually descriptive and "one to one correspondence" is a false premise upon which to base his argument because it has no real basis.

You don't think there are more real numbers than integers?

Correct.

Numbers do not exist except as notions.

There are more numbers between 1 and 2 than there are real numbers between 1 and infinity.

These are two infinite sets with different number of elements.

EDIT - Apparently Tigerdroppings can't handle the infinity sign.

sum of all natural numbers from 1 to infinity is equal to -1/12
