Mayo/lettuce/tomato is the standard seafood poboy dressing. Pickles optional. You may not like it but she’s certainly not weird for mentioning it That's how they come in most poboy joints.

There’s this place by the underpass that serves excellent bao sandwiches but their regular chicken sammich is doused in mayo.
