I’ve lived this life a long time brother. I’ve had some great babies over the years and some not so great. The great ones are what you are describing. They are looking for a mentor to help them have a better future, not using you for an ATM to party and buy stupid shite.
One word of advice I can give is to pop her with a random drug test. My golden rule of this life is NO HARD DRUGS. I’m not wasting my time/money on a party girl. I don’t give a frick how hot they are. I don’t give a shite if they smoke a little weed.
I will give you a tip I learned from an old pro on finding a new baby. Have some plain white business cards made with just your first name on the front and your number on the back. When you go to the grocery/eat/coffee etc and see that smoking hot 18/19yo working the cash register/waitress that you’re interested in, hand her a $50 bill for a tip with the business card. They may not txt right away but the curiosity usually gets the better of them. I’ve gotten my last 2 babies like this. My current is a 19yo nursing student I snagged at the cash register of a Starbucks with this trick in the drive thru.
Find the right baby and it’s a great experience. Sounds like you’re on the right track already! Good luck to you!

I have a contact at your company that does interviews. I haven't spoken to him recently(been busy with an FTU on the military side). I'm gonna let this interview play out. If it goes poorly, I'll reach out to him. Hell, I may reach out to him if it goes well.

I think I've met him, this is the honest to God's truth, they are trying everything in the world to find anyone with a pilot's license that is anything other than a white hetero male to stuff into these classes, truth is, there aren't that many of those, I've got a buddy(USNA, Herk dude too,) that has been waiting and waiting too and I kept bugging the recruitment people about once a week and he finally just emailed them and asked them what's up and he immediately got called in

This isn't the first story I've heard like this. A couple of guys in my old squadron have gotten on at your company in the past month in spur of the moment interviews. Hell, they accomplished part of their interview via zoom.
