I feel like I should have lived in an earlier time when smoking, among other things, wasn’t such a god damn big deal and people weren’t such pussies

Smoking is trashy and this comes from a person who still smokes every now and then. I'm really close to putting them down for good though and I do realize it's a disgusting trashy habit.

If someone shite all over themselves and then you had to be around them and smell their shite I imagine you wouldn't be happy. Same thing for someone who hadn't showered in a few weeks. Smoking is no different.

True, but that's not my problem. I'm not responsible for getting them addicted in the first place. They knew the risks when they started.

Before I quit for good I was aware of how bad it smelled because I had managed to quit before for varying amounts of time and was able to smell it. But at the same time, it's an addiction.

Honestly, I would rather be around a group full of smokers than a group full of overweight mouth breathers. It makes me cringe that everytime I go somewhere,75% of the people around me are obese.
