Having a huge bump in your mouth and spitting into a cup or on the ground just screams class.
Even better, when they swallow it and think it makes them a bigger man.
Sure, the smell doesn't stick on you like smoking, but it's still trashy as frick.

I think they know they stink, i just don't think they know how bad and how much others are disgusted by it.
Everything my MIL gives my kids either goes straight into the washing machine or outside to air out, or just into the garbage b/c it stinks to high heaven.

I sometimes pass out with a dip in my mouth at night...
It's much better than smoking in the house..I can lay on the couch with a glass of wine and a dip at night and not have to worry about falling asleep with a cig and burning my house down

My father is a chain smoker but he is in the 10% of smokers that care about his appearance i guess. he takes 2 hours to get ready and he just went home to chnage is shirt because he thought is was checkered black and matched his pants (which are black). when he learned that hes color blind and his shirt was actually checkered navy blue he couldnt handle it. Had to go home. So, he might be an anomaly, but they do exist. heavy cologne user as well.

I disagree, but either way, they're like basically the same level of trash, just one of them you can do inside and not bother people with a smell.

First of all changing clothes or mouthwash doesn't affect it. The smell permeates their skin, and their breath smells like a pile of shite that's been stewing in the sun for a week. Trying to mask it with lotion or cologne makes it even more nauseating.
Layer on the yellow fingernails, wrinkly skin, and you've got a pretty nasty thing going on.
(Dipping is disgusting as well)

Thats very important to me..as well as my truck and my clothes not smelling like smoke.....
Plus I can dip just about anywhere and no one would even know......not so much with smoking

Cig smoking is way trashier than dipping. Still though, dipping means you're addicted, and it controls you like cigs do.
