Years ago, I worked for a now defunct cell phone company. On our intranet, we had this nifty application where you could text any number and make it appear as if it was from a different number (any number at all). I used to text my friends and family a message like "This is xxxx wireless customer service, please return our call to this number at your earliest convenience regarding your (insert something about bill, text overages, etc)". Would make the call back number a sex phone number. Always was able to get them to bring that crap up in conversation before I'd fill them in. Good times. Was fun to text coworkers sexual messages from the bosses number too. She was a good sport.
