It's none of my business, and I don't judge you. I hope you get the medical care you need. And I hope the news is not as dire as you are anticipating. I also hope you quit dipping - but I'm not gonna be a dick about it. You are free to choose.

candor you like this word

Well GEAUXT it’s either candor or honesty. Or would you prefer forthcoming speech. Or how about brutal openness? Hell you pick GEAUXT, give me a better word than candor I’ll use it.

Are you sure it ain't some sort of oral candidiasis? How much of your teeth are exposed with a receding gum line?

My friend's dad had his jaw removed, and tongue shortened. Lived decent afterwards but the surgery caused some nerve damage in his arm.

So you've resigned yourself to death because of dipping and you're not even gonna put up a fight?

I mean, there are ways that are a lot quicker and a lot less painful. And I'm not advocating any of those ways either. I just don't understand your mentality of giving up before you even know if it's cancerous or not.

Switch to nicotine gum, vaping nicotine salts, or zyn nicotine patchs if you can't quit completely. While all of those are bad for your health they are much healthier than tobacco itself. Look up harm reduction for nicotine addiction if you can't quit .

I had what was initially diagnosed as Leukoplakia. Later biopsy proved it to be a squamous cell cancer- no bueno. Went to MD Anderson and had it cut out. Luckily, there was no spread to lymph nodes. This was > 20 years ago. I was not a dipper or smoker, though now I enjoy the occasional cigar.
