Do men and women share similar interests?

I'm not talking about morals or ethics but rather things that each sex takes interest in. I see Barbie being marketed to young boys and ads that show women taking interest in cars and extreme sports. I know that there are exceptions on both sides but we can all agree men are a lot more interested in cars, sports, videogames and women are more interested in reality tv, fashion,etc. what say the ot, how much do the interests of the sexes overlap?

I think women are much more likely to be into things that are predominantly men interest than vice versa. Not sure why that is though

Yeah, the SO tried to put on "Formation" - Beyoncé the other day. Said it was her jam. I literally wanted to push her out of the car doing 70 down the interstate. How anyone can listen to garbage like that is beyond me.

Because women are constantly trying to prove they are equal and can do all the things men can do. Whereas men have nothing to prove to women and just generally don't give a frick.

That's an error in thinking that has cause many women to be confused and unhappy. Instead of trying to compete and be men's equal, they should try to compliment a man. A man does this, a woman does that. Each bringing different valuable skills to the table instead competing who's better at a particular skill. It's inefficient and it causes conflicts.
