I remember 30 years ago getting divorced. Thinking my world would come to an end Then I met my current wife. Two kids and fourth grandkid on the way , couldn’t be happier. Like the song says… Thank God for unanswered prayers

It does. I bout lost my mind the first few years. My ex remarried within a year of us being divorced (poor sucker didn’t realize he was just he next meal ticket). Myself, I dipped my toes into the dating pool every now and then and enjoyed getting to do whatever I wanted to for 4 years. I’m remarried now to a good woman, that’s 15 years younger than my ex, and happier than ever. Good luck to you, and enjoy that freedom.

Uh you don't have someone bitching all the time and get to do whatever you want.

Hell yeah it gets better

They are gonna be what gets you through. No, it’s not optimal, but better they don’t see you fighting all the time. Little pitchers have big ears.

Just be the best dad you can for them when you have them. Love them. Make sure they know you’ll always be there no matter what.

I wrote a real tearjerker of a song about my experience with it called “50/50”

Use that emotion to put into something productive, build them things, make them things, make your time count.

Dude. You have apps. Getting arse is as simple as swiping left or right. For us old farts, divorce meant going to Cadillac Cafe back in the day spending $20 on beer and listening to shitty music while waiting out last call for a 2am blow and go.

Sorry you're going through this.

If you don't mind can you give some back story?

When you spell a number, you are to spell the subsequent numbers in a paragraph. Where to use the "1" then you would use "2" subsequently.

C'mon baw
