DirectTV Now at LSU Tailgate

Anyone ever tried it? It’s DirectTV you can stream over your cell service that doesn’t use your data. Wonder if cell service is enough out on campus to do it.

I know it can run off a mobile hot spot from AT&T but of course this wasn’t at a LSU tailgate.

You can only access it as a student or staff member. Regardless, it doesn’t work well in open areas that are not directly next to a building. Most of the routers are in interior hallways.

Cell services is spotty at best and campus wifi wasn’t that great outside the buildings when I was there 2 years ago. You’d be better off bringing a satellite.

Nearly every tailgate out there knows a student or employee they can get the password from so it always has too much traffic to consistently work

It would probably work fine early in the day, but cell service goes to crap an hour or so before the game...
