Ha I actually thought about it too.

Yep, Live Oak High School definitely had that on.

And a closeted unbiased Anderson Cooper. Our public school didn't have it but when I decided to play football for the Catholic school in town they had it. I don't know if it was fact or rumor but I believe their business model was similar to video game console manufacturers. They put TVs in every classroom and then made up for it via programming fees.

I wish they'd have it on cable TV now. Finding an unbiased news broadcast (especially for HS kids) is nearly impossible. (Right- FNC/OAN/NM/Sinclair locals, Left- MSNBC/CNN/CBS/NBC/ABC/PBS)

Yes, our school had it but some of the teachers would just turn it off if it come on at an inconvenient time.

Your school didn’t have a scheduled time for it? Ours came on during homeroom. It was great to be able to take roll and do administrative things while the kids watched Channel One. I hated that it went away. It was the only “news” many students were exposed to.

I’m pretty sure that’s why my school didn’t have it. My high school bff’s school had Ch 1. They also had a broadcasting club that would put on school news too.
