My wife is European and they don't put the tree up until Christmas Eve and leave them up 2 weeks after the 1st of Jan.
We bought our tree on the 23rd, beautiful Douglas fir symmetrical and with few needles dropping when I picked it up and slammed it down 3 times.
Paid $6.25 for it. Yes, $6.25. Original price 79.99

I remember when my mom worked for a pretty bad school. The day before Christmas Eve a kid told her they didn't have a tree so we went out and bought one for the family and put it outside their door for them to wake up to on Christmas Eve with a note from an "elf". Ya never know.

Considering the Christmas season starts today, it stands to reason that some families might choose to put something called a Christmas tree up during the Christmas season.

Got ours a month ago didnt water it for 2 weeks needles everywhere. Its going away Monday.

We have Christmas backwards. We celebrate Christmas starting with Thanksgiving then consider it over when the sun goes down on the 25th. Christmas is actually 12 days starting with the 25th and lasting until January 6th.
