I'm watching Boardwalk Empire right now and all these huge people were drinking, the president, for example.

It was legal to drink booze made prior to the enactment of prohibition, so I'm sure the pres had all the 1919 whiskey he wanted.

Just remember how much money Big Joe Kennedy made off of smuggling liquor through the northern border during prohibition. That's what made the Kennedy's THE Kennedy's. That was one corrupt mother fricker.
