That is not how you act when you meet someone dumber than you. It's not a statement of your own intellectual arrogance, it's an intuitively obvious fact from interaction they are not on your rate of cognition. You don't belittle them as a moron so much as you attempt to speak on their level so they can understand you. With courtesy.
