Honestly tho as a kid and not knowing basf was a plant, I thought they really took everything ever made and upgraded it just from the commercial. Haha

Didn't every kid believe this? I mean hell, I had a yo yo that a BASF chemical rep gave me when I was a kid and all it had on it was "BASF", and I swear I could walk the dog better with it than I could with the one that I got from the John Deere dealership with the John Deere logo on it... We all know nothing runs like a Deere, but that BASF yo yo said frick you John Deere. That pretty much sealed the deal for me on what BASF does to a lot of products I buy.

I'm guessing a lot of the down votes have no clue about the commercials I am referring to, too young. Employer must be dependent on BASF.

Where can I find said herbicide?

Any ag retailer. It's called Sharpen. Its a broadleaf herbicide so you'll need to mix with roundup. It's about $700/gallon though. 1.5 oz kills an acre... Or you can buy Verdict. It's around $150/gallon, but you'll need 5 oz of it per acre.

Doesn't BASF own the rights to Clearfield rice? Which was invented by LSU

Interesting fact...the compounds for Line-X bedliners are made by BASF in Geismar, it's a 2 part process for the final product. One is shipped in a white 50 gallon drum and the other in a yellow one, both pre labeled with the Line-X name/logo

I don't know. I don't farm any rice, so I kind of tune everybody out when they start talking about rice in the meetings I go to.

They also make a fungicide called Priaxor-D that is shipped in two different jugs that you have to mix together yourself. I don't think it makes linex when mixed together though... It just kills diseases in soybeans.

These BASF people are on their shite.

The Line-X part of the plant is very small. They have over 20 units making all sorts of things, from pharmaceutical, cosmetics, to agricultural products and anything in between

They're really good at hiring slack jawed, incompetent, inefficient, mouth breathing idiot security guards that do not like to let me in the gate, to do my damn job.

I go through security gates all over the place, and they seem to be the worst. And they're {the security company} also a customer, so it seems like they'd cut me some slack.....

oh well I really don't care, I get paid by the hour, so it's all good.
