All I know is my teenage kids went to public schools and they both are very outgoing and popular. Both have a ton of friends, boyfriend/girlfriend and are in multiple extra curricular programs including athletics.
My niece and nephew have no experience with any of that. It’s kinda sad actually.
A lot of folks utilizing homeschool socialize their kids through homeschool co-ops. So they still get peer interaction, which is important. It's not like it was 20-30 years ago.
As for OP, he's an absolute twat who lies on the regular so I'd take his BS with a grain of salt.

homeschool co-ops.
I was homeschooled in the 90s for a little while and my mom did the same thing, although I’ve never been a people person.

This might be the biggest load of gobbledygook I've ever read

You're getting a paycheck, aren't you?
I get a paycheck for doing my job.
OP implied that wasn't enough.

Then be content with only doing your current job, and nothing more.
I'll do more, it'll just be for a different company, with a different job, and a bigger number on the weekly check.

Same can be said for adults esp young adults who never go to an office. You don’t learn the three Cs (communication, coordination, collaboration) and don’t get the career development needed to warrant higher level promotions. It’s that simple. We don’t hire you to ‘do your job’. We hire you to be part of the company. You don’t get promoted by simply getting your job done. You get groomed and promoted within a company culture learned through the three Cs and by bring more to the table than ‘I did my job’ so gimme this.
But what if everyone at your company works remotely?

I am making 60% more since I started WFH. This is with same company. Could possibly be even more if I looked elsewhere

This is something your bosses have told you your entire career so they could overwork you for shite pay. Now, you're perpetuating that bullshite. Congrats, stooge.

Homeschooled kids still have friends and get together. They still turn out weird.
I don’t use work to socialize. I have enough friends outside of work.
People who use work as their only method of socialization are the weird ones

A lot pf schools boards are looking into 4 day work weeks, because like WFH jobs, it attracts more applicants. So WFH people have brought that on themselves. Districts know tons are parents are home, so taking Friday od Monday off shouldnt be a big deal, like it was in the past

Your assessment of homeschooling in today’s world is completely wrong. Sure there are some that completely isolate their children, but most homeschool parents, including us, were part of co-ops with other families and had field trips, classes and regular interactions with other kids and families their entire schooling lives. The only difference is the we parents were in charge of the curriculum and the hours spent on school work each day. Our two oldest graduated, we had and actual graduation with about 50 other kids each time. There was one young lady in our co-op that had offers all over the country, and about $2,000,000.00 worth of scholarship offers. Our youngest is the only one that will graduate from an actual school, but that is only because we moved here to Iowa, and she attends an amazing private Christian school. My oldest will graduate from Liberty University this May and will be working towards her master’s degree with the University of Iowa beginning in August. She is excelling in her field and has had no issue at all with being a part of the “team” she is working with as part of her internship. And if you need another example of a successful homeschooler, maybe check in on Tim Tebow…..
