Destrehan High School senior shot and killed

The shooting occurred near the intersection of Eighth and East Harding Streets around 8:20 p.m. Police say the teen, who they are not yet identifying, died at the scene.
Authorities say an arrest has been made, but are not yet identifying that individual.

Probably had something to do with a student being upset that a teacher stepped out on him and was getting smashed by one of his boys.

Wells 22, of the 700 block of East Hoover Street in New Sarpy, was arrested and charged with second degree murder in the fatal shooting of Kendall Williams, Jr. Sheriff’s deputies say that Wednesday night at approximately 8:30 p.m. they responded to a call of a shooting at East Harding & Eighth Street in New Sarpy. When officers arrived, the found Williams suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced deceased on the scene. Within hours a warrant was obtained for the arrest of Wells. Wells is being held at the Nelson Coleman Correctional Center.

I drive that street going to & from work each day. That area is as shitty as any area I've ever been through in the metro area. At night, you'd do just as well going through Central City or the lower 9th.

I'll assume you've never driven Harding. I'd wager that you wouldn't get out of your car at 9PM at that playground where this shooting happened.

Yeah because there is someone killed on that street weekly huh?
This shooting would barely be a blimp on the news if it was on some of the streets in 'central city or 9th ward' that has already had a good handful of killings on them already in 2016
