I'm on it chief. During Jazz Fest and Mardi Gras you can change tune into WWOZ and there will be a coordinated light show. Enjoy

I would like to formally submit my sub-contractors bid of $350,000.00 to supply you with 1 EA metric shite ton of zip ties.

$15 Mil is going in someones pocket. They can't convince me that it costs that much to put color changing LEDs on a bridge when they are cheap AF at Home Depot and you can change color from an app on your phone.

Since the wiring is over 30-40 years old in places, and the decision to go with color changing computer controlled LED’s, I could see it costing that much. Also, you are going to need a specialized climbing crew to install the lights. Also, NOLA traffic goers you can expect lane closures during installation. Metroscan traffic time is 6:36. If you have a traffic tip: 504-260-INFO.

The lake Charles bridge is literally crumbling
Not quite.

But, the lights on the I-210 bridge have never been replaced since Hurricane Laura. Damned shame, too. They only lasted a little while:

I guess they weren't insured?

They did this with the Texas St bridge in Shreveport (no more terrible half assed neon) and it looks really good.

Although it only cost 2 million and half of that was donated by a doctor
