Prosecutor just said Floyd had a drug tolerance but the gf testified that they were sold pills that were not what they thought they were so exactly what drug did Floyd have a high tolerance for?

and the two trips to hospital in March for OD?

hate to be on that jury...can you imagine the outrage at them personally if he gets acquitted? They’d have to go into witness

Imagine the jurist that lives in the neighborhood where the current riots are going on and you know the neighborhood knows he is on the jury.

Like someone else said, Govt is writing the closing argument for Nelson......

Nelson probably has information overload in his brain right now, and signaling his assistant for another legal pad and pen......

Whether acquitted or convicted, my guess would be notes for the future book/movie deal.

I would love to see this... but corporate wokeness isn't going to allow a higher up book company publish his story

and everyone knows Hollywood ain't making a movie about an acquittal unless it's to make Chauvin look like a racist murderer who used the racist system to get off

it's called "creative license" in Hollywood

I'm thinking about putting some boards on my office window and I'm in Louisiana, and my window faces an internal courtyard.

Yep.

There's no way this jury will vote to acquit. And we'll never know if they voted "guilty" because they legitimately thought Chauvin was responsible for Floyd's death or because they were genuinely afraid for their lives if they voted otherwise.

This fricking prosecutor...

“George Floyd wasn’t a superhuman, superhumans don’t exist!”

Drugs don’t affect George Floyd!

Ignore the evidence, you saw a Facebook video!”

I would love for Nelson to step up and start his closing with " So everything you just heard is bullshite and the prosecution thinks you're idiots".

The fact the prosecution is spending so much time on the counter-arguments of the defense is giving the same validity. If the defenses are unreasonable and/or unrealistic/unsupported by evidence, the prosecution would not need to spend as much time.

I live in the country here in South Carolina. I'm surrounded by over 100 acres of land and my house sits at the top of the hill. I need some target practice.

This is all because of the job Nelson did the 1st week on his cross examinations. He totally changed the trials direction and made the prosecution defend their case instead of presenting their case.

I'll be stunned if he gets off. I really do think they'll convict him.

no way DC gets acquitted. Too much pressure/possible threats being put on jury. My gut says guilty of something that way the jury can feel better about themselves and can say they convicted him of something.

I have a question for you lawyer people. In closing arguments does the defense rebut the prosecutions closing argument, or do they go over the facts of the case as to why he is innocent? Or both?

Manslaughter is not going to be enough to appease the masses.

IF Chauvin Is found guilty there is already tons of reasons for an appeal.
