DENHAM SPRINGS, LA -
Denham Springs Police Chief Scott Jones and Police Captain Steve Kistler were placed on administrative leave, according to officials with the Denham Springs Mayor’s office.
According to officials with the the two were placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal administrative investigation.
The internal investigation involves whether department policies and procedures were properly followed in response to a domestic violence call.
It is possible the investigation involves the arrest of a Denham Springs council member.
Christopher Davis, 40, was arrested and booked on Feb. 11 after he was accused of domestic abuse that happened on Jan. 15. He was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail. He posted a $1,500 bond and was released.
Davis, who was re-elected to the council in 2014, was initially just issued a summons the night of the incident.
An interim Chief of Police will be named soon, according to officials.

That would be hard even for the OT. Nothing but whities in Denham, except for that pocket on Rodeo.

Most of us never bring race up. Unless some filthy Italian poster starts popping off about it, I don't see how it would be discussed at all in this thread.

You dont see how a town that's 70 percent white with a publif issue and race won't be brought up? Seems wishful thinking

I seem to remember a day when race didn't matter so much. Where did that day go?

Damn! The guy had an earlier arrest a few years ago for DWI and hit and run. Now, domestic abuse charges. Sounds like the kind of guy you want serving on a city council.
