Water at 27.4 north about 100 mikes south of LA Coast Is still about 80 degrees.

Great news - when Louisiana is in the middle of the cone 5 days ahead of landfall, the storm lands 250 miles away and the weather is gorgeous.

remember how much convection was along for the ride with the LLC of Tropical Storm Marco when it made landfall in Plaquemines Parish?
