It's the alternate channel if they have more than one program to air.

It's the back up channel in case SECN is carrying 2 games at the same time or the earlier one runs into the start of the later game. Similar to what ESPN and ESPN2 are to each other.

SECN+ is the online streaming. It's not on TV nor is it the alternate channel.
