You strike me as somebody in the state legislature

Next year is your robot bill? Optometric robot scope of practice bill

This was directed at me? Cause it was a response to yourself.
But I'm an open book, I'll lay my cards on the table if you promise to do the same.
(And for the record, this is a fun debate, you seem like a good enough guy, except for shitting on my schooling, that was uncalled for)

Hahaha hey you said I was ignorant! Plus I don't know what you schooled in so I had to round down to zero given all the retardedly stupid things the side opposing me has said in this thread

But I'm sure you're smart if you're designing all these robots to sell to the optometrists

What do your cards look like

I told y'all I'm part time eye doc in oakdale, weekends at the pizza pit

Bro, we're all gonna be monkeys piloting spaceships pretty soon. Much sooner than we think.
My profession won't be far behind the primary care doctors, and I guess I'm OK with it, I'm not a huge fan of work.
But it is an interesting idea that one of the most valued jobs in our society will be one of the first to die out due to technology.

Will the autonomous NP work be replaced by robots or can your closet time machines tell us if they actually pass this dangerous piece of legislation this week? If they fail, I assume your robots will need to replace a different field

Do you have anything to do with healthcare? I really feel like the answer is no

Not in a bad way, just an ignorant way. Go back a few hundred pages and I linked a few dozen articles on the subject.
I've got mad respect for the schooling you did, and I do think that NP's should be under some kind of instruction but not every case. They should know enough to refer difficult cases to real docs .
So we have SOME common ground?

I think they need more supervision than what sb187 dictates

You feel right. I studied hard science, not this "more art than science" bullshite that y'all call biology. I like answers, not grey areas.
But you understand my point? Even if you don't agree?

What is your understanding of the schooling of an np?
Posted on 5/23/16 at 1:18 am to LucasP
What is hard science if biology is not

OK, so let's find some common ground.
Any particular cases or symptoms that might dictate oversight from an MD?
Posted on 5/23/16 at 1:18 am to LucasP
I disagree and do not understand
Posted on 5/23/16 at 1:19 am to LATigerdoc
You see "we have to pass the bill" so that you can understand what's in it

I banged one for a few years and helped him/her study. It was pretty intensive
