I find myself scoping out the levees as I pass for the best sledding if New Orleans gets enough powder. The ones on Lake Ponchatrain by Bayou St John are pretty steep from what I remember.

I've been looking at the NWS Birmingham site and they have taken down the Winter Weather Watch down for everywhere from Tuscaloosa northward.

I have a feeling the HRRR is going to start showing some eye popping accumulation totals, the 18z run is showing like 5"+ of accumulation in the middle of the event
