I don’t think a homo tryst is what he needs right now, tbh.

I've got a 16 year old daughter and a 12 year old son and it seems like both were born yesterday. I can promise you this...If you're looking for love, just wait until you look at your child in the eyes for the first time. I'll never forget those moments. If you're looking for a reason to live, you'll never find a better one than being there for your childs first words, first steps, first tee ball games, first time driving and being their shoulder to cry on when THEIR life get's tough. You may hate yourself but your child needs you. Don't rob him/her of a dad, brother. You want to feel loved and valued...Your best days are ahead, not behind dad!
Good stuff here.
Father abandonment is one of the single biggest issues we will never face as a society.

Start listening to the Generative Energy podcast with Georgi Dinkov.
You need to antagonize serotonin before its too late. start with Pepcid (famotidine) 20mg every evening. Then get an rx for cyproheptadine 4mg from your doc to take every evening. Compounded progesterone (men also need this) cream will also be good for your insomnia. And it will lower estrogen (which an excess of this can make you crazy)
This is the opposite of conventional lies that more serotonin is good.

that doesn’t include my unborn daughter that my cheating and soon-to-be ex-wife will deliver in a few months.
Does anyone know if this was ever verified through a paternity test?

This is where we should start people off.
At one point I think I was down to 1 or 2 maybe 1.5.
Time heals. Just dont short yourself. Pain before gain. I know it sucks.

Hang in there bud but also from the OP it sound like you have 8-10 people who care about you and support you. That’s not bad…more than most in fact.
How many more would you like?

No, but he does this every couple of months for attention. I’m sure he’s fine.

He will be back in a month or less for another round of sympathy. He does this regularly.

Take a deep breath. God has not forsaken you. Don't forsake Him. Just because you don't see the plan now doesn't mean there isn't one. Your post says a lot about what you have that so many others would give so much for. If the child is yours, that's a start. If no one else in this world needs you, SHE does. Hang on to her for as long as you can and be the role model she will (clearly) desperately need.
As for friends......look, they're pretty overrated. We've had and kept maybe one or two truly GOOD ones (I guess three if you count one of those is a couple), but we apparently ran that couple off last Christmas when our oldest son came down with covid while we were doing a weekend trip with them to ride the Polar Express in North Carolina. Didn't know he had covid til we got back home and because they spent the weekend in the same house with us, they felt the need to refrain from their respective family gatherings. They never said anything, but I didn't hear from the guy for six months after that. Before then, he'd call me every couple of days. Things still aren't back to where they were today. I say all that to say friends are often only friends for as long as it's convenient. Once somebody gets too busy or feels slighted in any way, or the friendship just becomes too cumbersome, people move on. It is what it is.
One day at a time, friend. We all have a few bad ones along the way. The dawn does eventually break through.
