He is and he took the workaholic term to a different level. After going through what he went through a few times in the military and continues to do to himself on a daily basis is on a different level.

He's a tormented individual who plays the angry guy on his videos. Who wants to go through life miserable like that? Military definitely brainwashed him.

There is a story in his book where he just finished a 24 hour race that he didn’t train for. He was greatly injured. The next week he was recovering and went to watch his wife and mother run one of the only races they have ever run. He was there to support them. And when he heard that gunshot, he took off running, and couldn’t help himself. He was wearing jeans and boots, and recovering from shitting blood.

The guy is more of a train wreck than a role model, good motivational speaker, but not a life to follow. His compulsive actions suggest he’s an addict, and while his feats are unbelievable, it detracts from every other area of his life.
