You aren't required by law to do this.

Though the supreme Court did rule that a cop can tell you to edit the vehicle for pretty much any reason.

It's a sad reality but cops are all douches that were picked on in high school with little dicks. They get paid nothing but get to beat up kids behind the shield of a badge/taser/gun/etc. If they really were into public service they would have gotten a less dangerous job. If they were into the risk, join the Army. But like child molesters end up having a job close to children, these bitches sign up to get that high school revenge. No respect.

Why was the cop standing there watching the kid not breathing? Easy answer. At that point, he knew he was in big trouble and was hoping the kid would die so he couldn't tell his side of the story.

I didn't catch this thread when it was made. I see the pathetic bootlickers are still out in force.

A. The window was broken. You can hear the driver try to explain it. He couldn't roll it down all the way. If the cop wasn't some power hungry raging dick bag this reasonable explanation could have been conveyed respectfully.

B. I believe this young man's father is a police officer. He had instructed the boy on how to properly interact with police. Let that one sink in people who claim that the parents fricked up in raising a disrespectful brat who had it coming. There was no right way to deal with it.

C. The police officer used the taser for far longer than what he should have been trained to do. That's why he went into cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest means that you are about to fricking die. The drop was not just some small thing. It caused permanent brain damage that the young man will have to deal with for the rest of his life. It is not a stretch to say that this cop has ruined this man's life.

D. The cop lied about why he pulled over the young man. Even so there was no need for it to be anything more than a routine stop. If you are lying about something that is usually a sign that you know you did something wrong.

There is literally no reason to defend this guy, and yet the geniuses of the OT find a way to do it. He is no doubt total scum of the earth. If you do not find his actions totally reprehensible and terrifying then you might just be a horrible person.

This is a bit off topic, but would it be helpful to tweak the system for handling traffic stops that aren't of a "hot pursuit" nature so that the LEO would have to enter the reason for the stop into a database prior to initiating the traffic stop? This information would be stored and not able to be deleted or edited, and if the officer wants/needs to change or update the reason for the stop after the fact, the initial reason would still be documented so obvious changes could be noted. Would that help filter out or make more obvious some of the unconstitutional stops?

Great idea. It would help at least.
