We have a Chiweenie with some jackrussel, the shedding is not bad but his attitude towards people outside the family is terrible.

what do you mean not supposed to be there? a robber? i said that was fine, and you want that.
I'm talking about the aunt or uncle or cousin or whoever that visits once in a blue moon and the dog never warms up to them and barks constantly. That is irritating.

My wifes had one when we first started dating and when i came over that dog barked at me until i left. I was never aggressive or anything, always tried to let it warm up to me, and it never did. When that little shite moved in my house and started acting like that, it only took about a week or two for it to understand her days of being the boss of the house and barking at me were over. That dog did not like me after that, and the feeling was mutual, but it sure did listen to me, unlike for my wife.

Ours barks at almost anyone that comes in the door. Once we let them in the house they are fine and she shuts up.

We have a short hair and he doesn't shed bad at all, but it doesn't make up for how stupid he is.

Maybe. maybe it made me an a-hole by acting like a bitch.
My two current dogs don't feel that way, nor do any normal size dog that i come in contact with.
