I'm trying to figure out a way to store one in the cab of an 18 wheeler, op.

Yeah, I'm lucky my local shop has given me absolute closeout end of the year deals, plus they give free service as long as I'm the original owner. Tune up here and there makes it nice to not have to pay 75 bucks or so (I only ever personally worked on my CX bike that I just sold). I've seen reviews online bashing the shop because people felt like they treated them poorly for bringing in "department store" bikes. But I don't think those people realize they are typically working on bikes where the handlebars cost more than the entire bike. It's in your best interest to not bring it there.

Yeah, I couldn't keep my old white R3 clean to save my life, so I avoid white bar tape and white kits. That photo was just to show the Clug; not my bikes.

I'm waiting to pick up an R3 in Thursday . White bar tape will be one of the first changes when it gets nasty.

For a second I was going to ask if those were your bikes, then I saw it was from the DC rainmaker review. I almost went with the Giant TCR, but was scared of the integrated seat post like in that pic.

Nice. The R3 was my first "real" road bike. Put 12,000 miles on it before I sent it to my parents' house to ride when I visit home. Loved the light weight and stiffness; it responded when you dropped the hammer or attacked up a hill.

Thought for sure I'd want another R3, but test rode an S3 and never looked back. Put some 303s on there and have been loving it like the day I got it.

My local shop pretty much unloads the previous years bikes at cost. I went in to get an S series. They only had the S5 in my size. And although it was heavily discounted, I couldn't spend 4k. The R3 was probably better suited to what I want it for anyway (long group rides). Plus they had my size and it was $1k off MSRP.

Oh I know. I was close. Very close. But I really didn't need that much bike. I'd be that slow Fred on the top of the line bike . I really took some liberties spending 2.5k on the R3, and that was a very good deal. I went in to get the S2 or R2. I'm happy with how things worked out.

I use this one. Notice the bars that hold the frame are each adjustable as modern frames top tubes aren't straight like those of yesteryear. The pads that the top tube rest in are also slightly V shaped to allow for a formed carbon frame to rest snugly.

It has a 3 legged semit-triangular footing at the base that lies flush to the floor.

The base...

I have my Felt b12 for triathlons. This is just to get mileage, I haven't done any cycling racing, although I think this bike would be worthy with a good set of wheels if I decide to. Getting aero road bike was mostly for looks . When he told me the price of the S5, it was hard to say no. But theven R3 left me room for a power meter (to swap with my Felt as well) and hopefully race wheels in the near future.

Those feedback stands are nice. I like their stuff.
