Women look for men they can trust. Attractive women meet creeps every ducking day. They don't like that. I've met numerous chicks in college who told me they dated frat guys for the sole reason that if a group of people can stand being around him, he can't be too bad. Same with other groups and clubs. If you're by yourself, it's a lot harder to gain their trust.

Sounds great in theory, but the reality is closer to floating alone in a pirogue on Lake Ponchatrain, with 3 packs of Ball Park weiners and one hot dog bun.

Yet you are the only poster so far to which "cruising" had a gay connotation.

There are singles cruises. If this isn't your choice, you will end up with a mix of all aged people: Kids-octagenarians.

only if you can't meet women. All you have to say is well I bought this cruise for me and my girlfriend but she dumped me a few weeks/months ago, and I said frick it, I am going.

I know some single women that went on a singles cruise and it was all single women. I LOL'd, and then told all my single guy friends to go. They didn't.

If you have social skills you can do well most places solo.

knocking Angor Wat off my bucket list, and I am well aware of the ladyboy's and that's a no go zone.

I just got back last night from Bangkok, Angkor, and Ko Yao Noi.

We had a great time

The 5 nights in Bangkok is enough time to get a properly fitted suit made. I, sadly, didn't have enough time to get some stuff made myself.

Cambodia is like India-lite. You'll enjoy Siem Reap though. Tuk tuks are 3 to 5 dollar US anywhere in town.

The time of year would probably be pretty good as you'd get less tourists running around.

I imagine the religious holidays could go either way. If they are neat and lead to something like Holi in India, then having some days there while that is going on is great.

Or you can get the other side, where apparently we hit the Taj Mahal on some random Muslim holiday or whatever and the place was packed with locals, even though it was Monsoon season and little tourists about.
