I mean he's abused and molested before and got off with way too low sentences sex crimes seem to have in the news
Way to low but time served

And now here he is walking to 100s of miles to knock boots with what he thought was a 14yo.
Thought crime he wanted to frick a 14y old. He didn't talk to a 14y old or frick one. What is the crime?
Thought crime not real crime
If an undercover cop pretended to be viligant group to a relative of the victim and ask do you want to help kill or casterate this pos? Should they go to jail if they show up willing?
Penalty for hurting innocent child should be much worse though

Jenkins previously pleaded guilty to child abuse in 2011 for molesting two boys, ages 7 and 8, in Wisconsin, where he used to live, according to the Oshkosh Northwestern.
He was sentenced to four years probation with a 360-day jail sentence stayed, the paper said, citing court records.
Probation
This is much of the problem.

It never ceases to amaze me how these ugly arse dudes think that a young girl would want anything to do with them.
These evil frickers don’t care what what their victims want. The young victim is just a thing for them to play with.

Capital punishment, where art thou?

No doubt in my mind the picture of the guy in the OP has a striking resemblance to OWLFAN. Anyone who has such animosity and hatred towards the disabled has to be pissed at the world due to him being one ugly mfer. Anyone taking bets on if the dude in the picture is as lonely as OWL and also has 143k posts on some obscure message board??

Dont judge unless you have walked 351 miles in his shoes.

but how do they get around entrapment with this?
It's not illegal to offer the opportunity to commit a crime, it is illegal to further coerce them into committing said crime. Clearly baw had a previous history of committing the crime in question and he clearly made great efforts towards committing it again. These aren't just thoughts, these are literal actions taken in effort to hurt a child.

He’ll do 5-7 years and be back in the general public. Dude needs to be put down.

So if undercover cop offered dad of previous victim unsolicited help to kill this guy just come to x place. If that dad shows up he should be arrested?

Do you know or understand what a criminal conspiracy is? UC has put himself in a position where he's on the hook for a murder conspiracy... and was the dad unlikely or unwilling to do the act before said unsolicited interaction? If no, then 100% entrapment.
Edit: Just realized you're the pedo defender... the police don't make the first interaction here, ever. They literally have printouts of the entire online interactions in these cases. They simply pose as what the perves are searching for.

Entrapment is the conception and planning of an offense by an officer or agent, and the procurement of its commission by one who would not have perpetrated it except for the trickery, persuasion or fraud of the officer or state agent.
quote:
Contrary to popular misconceptions, however, entrapment does not prohibit undercover police officers from posing as criminals or denying that they are police.[5] Entrapment is typically a defense only when suspects are pressured into being implicated in a crime they would probably not have committed otherwise, but the legal definition of this pressure varies greatly from jurisdiction to jurisdiction.
For example, if undercover officers coerced a potential suspect into manufacturing illegal drugs to sell them, the accused could use entrapment as a defense. However, if a suspect is already manufacturing drugs and police pose as buyers to catch them, entrapment usually has not occurred.
Dont die on a hill for "thought crime" when it isn't.
