the hitting with the lid looked a little fake but a couple of those kicks and a few of the last punches looked legit. Not sure how faked that could be.

It's fake. They move fast so it's harder to see that they aren't striking each other, but the same eight fighters do the same choreographed "fight" every night in that bar, and most other Muay Thai fighting venues in Thailand.
There are a few legit ones in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, but I've been to this one and it's definitely fake.
