Crawfish and Corona

Not a horrible combination but not one of my top 10 choices.
Related though, how do you think this will affect the prices? I mean, so far, the conditions were prime for cost. Nothing that the farmers could really blame high prices on.
You know they're gonna work this in!

Prices are probably gonna skyrocket since there isn't anything else to do.

I thought about this yesterday. You'd think people would be less inclined to have crawfish boils as germs would spread pretty easily there. Decreased demand -> increased supply = lower prices.

Man, it's hard to do better than a Corona with a pile of boiled crawfish.

There are not many food items that can be cooked and served without human contact but boiled crawfish & shrimp. Doesn't get any safer than that!

There's no rhyme or reason with crawfish economics.

I'm just talking about crawfish boils - i.e. large gatherings. It's probable that people will be less inclined to host / go to crawfish boils like they would if there were no COVID 19 risk.

Gas prices go up - price of crawfish goes up
Gas prices go down - price of crawfish goes up
see how it works
