It does but I never was interested in looking at them. I feel better and I don't snore anymore. It's all I needed.

You are doing well for yourself, keep up the work with the CPAP and your sleep will drastically improve. Sometimes I find myself ripping it off of my face in the middle of the night, but for the most part I have had great sleep. I got it last fall and my life has changed.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Doctor said the “doctor” that read the results said I stopped breathing on average every 5 minutes.
Well to quote Maury “the results are in”. That was at least 10 years ago. Never used a CPAP.
Still here. But I am a two time cancer survivor.
May die tonight, nobody knows when or where. C'est la vie say the old folks.
Just be ready in case!

Crank up the humidity during allergy season to keep those sinuses clear. I use the full mask every night for the past 3 years.

this is new to me so is that normal? was that because i drank too much that night or my airway was constricted more than normal? that's a pretty wild swing
Those numbers are not bad enough to worry about.

I noticed the positive change in my energy level and sleep quality after the first night. I haven't gone without it since.

anyone wanna explain the cost of a sleep study and then the cost of a cpap?
I have the symptoms of dragging all day, feeling tired. I wake up 2 or 3 times a night and always feel tired when I wake up for work...if I fall alseep on the couch ill wake up grasping, if I'm in my bed I just wake up every few hours, I snore alot and little overweight at 5'11 200lbs....

I think blood oxygen level is the most important thing measured during a sleep study. When you stop breathing the blood O2 level starts dropping which isn't good for organs. If it drops below 60 mmHg your in trouble. Mine was dropping to 50 during the night. I've used a CPAP for over 10 years now and it's been a life changer.

quote:My doctor says I have 40 per hour (that's once every 90 seconds on average). I wish I had gotten my CPAP 25 years ago when I first starting showing signs of trouble.
I have one every 5 minutes. The doctor said I almost die every night for the last 40 years.
