So my dad has cox cable and I wanted to watch the LHSAA football state championships today at work via online on the cox contour app using his login information.

Well cox is worthless!

The only way to watch it online is to watch it off of the home cox internet. I told the lady at cox, if I was at home, I would watch it on the tv and not the internet. I have never heard such stupidity. Apparently you can only watch certain channels away from your home.

I know dear facebook etc etc

end rant.

You are trying to approach this logically. That’s not how Cox does business.

I read a CNET article recently laying out all of the "headaches" of cutting the cord and how you may not save much money.

They fail to understand that for many of us, it's just as much about hating cable companies as it is saving money.

I probably only save $20 a month and have to juggle a lot of devices, especially to watch sports, but it's oh so worth it.

I'll keep fighting for the good guys and encourage even more innovation.
