Cox or ATT for internet in Elmwood area?

My wife's cousin is moving to "New Orleans" but will be living near Elmwood.
What is the best internet choice for her? We live near uptown New Orleans and have ATT.
She has kids who love devices and she has an office job in the area but sometimes doesn't remote work for them.
She's from the Northeast, so it's hilarious to hear her talk about CAAAAA-HX (COX) with a Bahh-ston sounding accent.

I’m a couple blocks from Elmwood and we don’t have AT&T fiberoptic here yet. My understanding is AT&T w/o fiber is not very good.
No big problems with Cox internet. Speeds are good and outages are rare.
But when they run fiber I’ll jump to AT&T, because Cox loves to creep the bill.

I have att fiber after switching from cox.

In general, Cox over AT&T.
I’ve had far more customer service and other issues with AT&T than Cox.
