Had it for a few years until I cut the cord a few days ago. It's whole home DVR with huge capacity. Also the set top is made by Cisco and it accepts MPEG4 streams from Cox. This means more HD channels are offered on the contour platform than the Motorola boxes.

You can also record 6 programs at once.

It can also recommend shows based on your viewing habits. For me, though, the massive storage capacity and the capability to record multiple shows are the benefit.

We've got it. Whole DVR, all DVR recordings are available on all TVs with a box.
It's expensive, but I enjoy having it.
