One way would be to stop voting for leaders that like your situation and will do anything to keep it that way.

I know that I worked 11p-7a then went to class during the day so I could pay my way through college.
Also, you can't tell me an adult is forced to live in a ghetto. If they truly want to get out, they'd work for it and find a way out.

they could join the armed forces. do 4 years, get school paid for, save some money.
they wouldn't even have to fight or be near it. just fill up soda and candy machines on a ship or work at an air force base. job for everyone in the military.
