My dad was tested on the 28th and got his results today. So it took 11 days.
Not too bad. He was negative thankfully.

Just found out that the BR Clinic sends the swabs to Woman's Hospital for analysis and that the machine at Woman's was down yesterday and this morning causing delays. I wonder if the free tests are sent to the same place?

That was a 2 day turnaround for results The 2nd one I took was about a month ago when I was feeling sick, and the Lake Urgent Care suggested I get one. It was the rapid test. The tech basically rolled the swab around my nose for a couple of seconds, I'm not sure it really even got in there good. Not even close to the feeling of the first test I had done. It too was negative.
I have no idea if the rapid test was just done wrong at the Urgent Care, but it was a totally different experience and feeling than the "long result" test

So, a 44 day quarantine?
10 day minimum from the onset of symptoms and at least 3 days symptom-free I *think* are still the guidelines.

The swab advances between my first and second swabs made all the difference. First one felt like a sword going into my brain.
