When asked during a pc ifnhed consider opening by region I swear to God his answer was “I haven’t thought about that”.

The LDH website says that there are PLENTY of vents in region 4 and 30something icu beds .. I realize that doesn’t mean Lafayette itself but there ARE beds in our region.

I hope your sister gets some days off and please know I’m not saying she’s wrong by any means — just saying what LDH is reporting — my brother is a pharmacist in LC at Memorial and he says while they’re swamped it’s not “awful” and the biggest issue hospital wide is staffing.

** check the LDH site to see for yourself — I pray their numbers are right. There is a tab that has a bar chart for hospital beds/icu beds/vents by region. Lafayette is 4.

I wish I was a Governor of a state. I would take this article, shove it up their stupid fricking asses, and open everything the frick back up 100%. You can't cave in to these morons. All these Governors and political leaders are just gigantic pussies. It's painful to watch them overreact over something that kills only the unhealthy and people over 80.
