COVID-19 Outbreak in Beijing's Largest Wholesale Food Market

This is actually quite a big deal for a couple of reasons.
First, the Xinfadi wholesale market supplies approximately 70% of all vegetables, 80% of fruits, and 10% of pork in Beijing. LINK
Second, a number of news organizations with strong connections to China are reporting that at least 45 individuals from the market have tested positive.
Third, and perhaps most important, this outbreak is apparently starting in Beijing. This would be essentially the Chinese government's worst nightmare. One of the primary reasons why the CCP locked down Wuhan was to protect Beijing. If COVID-19 spreads throughout the city from this market, there will be some wild reactions by Chinese party officials.
As it stands, the government is already shutting down nearby neighborhoods and closing schools.

Luckily, only handful of people will test positive and all of the independent journalists on the case will decide to relocate to an unknown location.
Remember that China, the country were this unprecedented epidemic originated from, only had 84k cases. The US, with the most advanced healthcare system in the world at 1/4 of China's population, has 2.1 million cases.
The CCP obviously has a firm grasp on on this.
