Shower is legit, hot tub/pool/ocean not so much. Something about submersion causes lack of friction which is sorta the whole thing that makes it mutually enjoyable.

I saw my neighbors labs get stuck when I was a kid. The dad went out and threw hot water on them and they became unstuck
