I went to a course on cognitive bias as it relates to crime scenes and forensics.
I'm not sure I'd believe anything any one said. Interpretation of events and Memory of those events can be very inaccurate.

Yep.
It's easy to conflate outside events with what you want to remember.
For a more innocuous example, I've mixed up performances by NOLA street musicians with ones I saw in high school or college at an auditorium.
