I still play like I did as a kid. Give me a scoop net, cast net,hook and line , rifle or shotgun and it’s playtime. I had a boat as a kid , never had a bicycle. Catching ducks,fish,deer,frogs and rabbits was all I ever wanted to do. I’m 60 and love every minute of it.

The big problem with playing games like Capture the Flag, German Spotlight, and Kick the Can is too many people have fences. When I would a kid very few people had fences, so our playing field was endless.

I had a pistol and a rifle......we had rules though.....there had to be some distance between you and the other guy.....at least 50 feet and with all of the overgrown weeds on vacant lots and areas around the canals out there, we had a lot of room for that. I remember my dad finding out about what we were doing , thought he would end our existence, but then old us that we were amateurs when he caught us in action.

I'm not a fat lazy frick, and don't want my kids to be either, so absolutely we go outside and play. We swim, we play catch, we play basketball, we ride horses, we run, we just keep active.

I mean, technically paintball is just adult Nerf war. And if the OT wants to go play paintball tomorrow before the game, then I’ll dust off my stuff and meet you out there.

At night we would play flaslight tag in my neighborhood. Pretty basic, hide and seek around the neighborhood with a flashlight. Pretty intense games

We play hide and seek at the camp over in Texas. Only now it is on golf carts and in mini trucks.
