Couldn't do it for 2 days in a row, much less everyday for a year.

It's up to 52 Box Combo's for a year

which equals about 1.3 tons of grease

50 lbs of grease per box? That's insane!

That's why you have to ask for extra napkins to soak it all up before you can actually eat it.

Years ago when I went from weighing 140 to 285 I was eating canes three times a week. I rarely eat it anymore but I still weigh 295.

When I think about it it's probably why my blood pressure sky rocketed too. I do have my BP under control now.

When they first opened and the only location was near campus as well as when they opened the second one on the corner of Lee Dr.. At that time I might have thought it sounded like a good idea, but now... No.

You realize that you aren't forced to eat it everyday, right?

They'll likely give you 365 free meal coupons or something, which is a year's worth of canes.

I don't know if I could eat at any restaurant every day for a year, but I damn sure wouldn't turn down a free meal in my back pocket if the mood struck.

I like it, but it's so salty, I feel like I would have a stroke if I ate it that often.

I ate it last night. With Popeyes Buffalo sauce because it's better than Cane's sauce.

I have a short list of food that I might be able to eat everyday for a year:

Gumbo

Steak

And even then, it might get repetitive. Cane's every day for a year? I like chicken. I love fried chicken. I eat Cane's a few times a year. Hell naw.

I remember the first time I had a box of canes in which it was obvious the quality was compromised. In fact, at the same time the cost had gone up $1. Don't get me wrong, I still get the craving to eat there from time to time (as in maybe once every 5, 6 months), but it use to be much better.

That's a totally original idea that no chic fil a thought of ever.

And no, Canes chicken doesn't break my top 5, so I wouldn't eat it all year. May stop in for toast and lemonade every so often though.

I wouldn't discount that shitshow of an ex-wife count you have as a factor in that sky rocketing BP, Walt.
